![]() Clearly its OWN hairs, it even has eyelashes! But I think there is something so unwholesome about a blob that grows hair. It has hairs! Not a funny hairdo or anything, just regular hairs, sticking out of it haphazardly. Often they are just purely cute, too, no matter how unsanitary they may realistically be! Sluggy, however, has a simple, but key thing to stand out from other blobs. Sluggy is what I in the business like to call a Pathetic Lump! Obviously I mean that only affectionately and I love this thing to bits! A little blob is always a great kind of creature. I can’t believe he’s never been featured on the blog before in any form! triangular block super mario world mario mario entities mod chikakoĭebut: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island You know what the faces on a lot of these remind me of, actually? Slammer, an anthropomorphic paddle… thing from an episode of the Super Show! Why did they feel the need to give pink inanimate object characters this sort of face so often? I would love to know! Is this… a mating pair? Cover your eyes, children! As if it doesn’t really want anyone to see. This one, meanwhile, seems like it IS two people! And a bit of an awkward expression, too. Looking for something fun to do with that special someone? Hold hands and run side by side toward this block and up a wall! This one is especially wide! This one’s for two people. Triangular Block also made some appearances in the Super Mario World cartoon, which we will be looking at each and every one of! Here, Yoshi is about to bounce off of one, as in the game, Yoshi bounces off Triangular Blocks instead of running up walls. Remember this beta sprite sheet that made the rounds a few years back, shocking the world with the wacky prototype Yoshi? Well, someone else special is here, too! Look in the bottom left corner… it’s Triangular Block, green and mouthless, with its friends, Circular Block and Square Block, who never made it into the game! I have no idea what purpose they could have served, though. If Mario runs up a Triangular Block, he’ll continue running up that wall! I’m not sure exactly what purpose this serves or if it was really necessary in the first place, but it’s fun. It could have easily been a faceless block or dirt ramp or something, but they made it happy and lovable! Triangular Block is one of those things that really didn’t have to be so charismatic, but they did it anyway. Triangular Block! I love you! Do you think these are alive? If so, do you think they’re sentient? I really hope so, because I want them to know how loved they are, and to be capable of loving back!
